Little Stars Nursery
Little Stars Nursery (formerly Woodlands Nursery) opened in July 2007 on the College site. It is managed by Sara and Anna who both possess childcare qualifications and a wide experience of working with children in a variety of childcare settings.
Little Stars Nursery aims to establish a reputation for high quality care and the education of pre-school children following the birth to three framework and the foundation stage curriculum.
The staff are enthusiastic and motivated to provide a happy, welcoming and stimulating environment for the children in their care.
The nursery supports a minority of students undertaking childcare courses on work placement without compromising the quality of care delivered to the nursery children.
This is achieved by maintaining high staffing levels of qualified and experienced staff who can support and supervise students effectively.
Little Stars Nursery is based on the Five Acres site and provides:
- General public / College childcare for children aged 3 months-5 years old
- Well resourced playrooms and outdoor playground
- A stimulating and caring environment in which children can learn through play

Hourly Rates Available
10% discount available to all Royal Forest of Dean College and Lakers staff.
Open weekdays 8.00am-5.30pm (additional hours available on request)
